Founder | Executive Board Member | Chief Executive Director

As the co-founder of Entitled Learning, Professor Thompson holds a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Central Missouri. She also has her Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction at The University of Kansas City, Missouri. Over the past ten years, she has taught all grade levels from 1st through high school.

Education is her passion while teaching is her purpose. Professor Thompson is currently an instructional coach for educators. She has a strong background in curriculum development and has implemented innovative strategies in the classroom. She has a wealth of knowledge in instructional design, and she is highly committed to helping others become successful educators.

Marketing Director | Executive Board Member

Lauren Thompson is from Kansas City, Missouri. She is a graduate of University Missouri, Kansas City and received her degree in Dance BFA. Lauren has worked with a number of professional choreographers ranging from Kishema Pendu to Cleo Parker Robinson. Lauren currently works at Paseo Performing Arts as an Artist in Residence. Her number one mission is to spread the joy and history of dance to her community.

Career Professional Mentor Coordinator | Executive Board Member

Denzel works as a Computing Architect and Product Owner of Data Migration where he specializes in the migration of airplane data from ENOVIA/CATIA V5 to 3DExperience for the Boeing Company. He has been with Entitled Learning since 2020 and serves as the Professional Facilitator. His responsibilities include, but are not limited to, developing and implementing effective ways to train and prepare professionals for the classroom, track, maintain, & distribute learning materials, schedule professional training sessions, and assist with STEM curriculum development. He ensures our professional volunteers are well prepared to have an enjoyable experience in the classroom to empower and uplift our scholars.

Communication Specialist | Executive Board Member

Aliyah McBride earned her Master of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Critical Race Theory from Missouri State University. She obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Communication with an emphasis in Interpersonal and Public Communication from the University of Missouri - Kansas City. She currently works for VMLY&R as a Talent Acquisition Specialist where she focuses on the coordinating candidates interviewing experiences while also overseeing the hiring process for contingent workers.

Aliyah strives to ensure that the latest information regarding Entitled Learning is broadcasted to the community through a variety of platforms. She is constantly focused on improving brand awareness throughout the community.

Resource Director | Executive Board Member

Gerald Nelson is an experienced resource analyst and IT technician. Born and raised in the Kansas City metropolitan area he attended Raytown South High School. Shortly after graduating, Gerald made the commitment to join the Missouri Army National Guard while attending Park University. Gerald is known around his community for his work as a Recruiter with the Missouri National Guard, but Gerald can also be credited with his contributions to minority adolescents with his various volunteer efforts. Driven by his passion for educating and assisting adolescents he takes pride in providing the best resources for Entitled learning as possible.

Marketing Historian | Executive Board Member

Ashley is an industrial engineer that has worked both in the construction and entertainment industry and currently works for Turner Construction. This is her second year working with the Entitled Learning team. She is currently the marketing historian. This role focuses on tracking Entitled Learning's marketing data across all platforms to ensure that we are expanding our reach and creating quality content in the most efficient and effective ways through continuous improvement.
